We assess children 6 - 12 years of age.

To maintain our high standard of premium care, we personally review all requests to ensure we are the right fit for your child's needs. Once your application is accepted, we will invite you to finalise your initial session booking.

Mental Health Assessment Package

  • Best For: Children experiencing intense anxiety, frequent meltdowns, emotional distress, school refusal or the impact of significant life changes.

  • Total Fee: $1,750 AUD

  • Inclusions: Initial intake, parent session, child session, parent rating scales, psychological report, feedback session, 2 × parent support sessions.

  • Payment: $875 deposit at booking | $875 balance due 24 hours before testing.

Cognitive Assessment Package

  • Best For: Identifying baseline intellectual potential, highlighting both cognitive strengths and areas for growth.

  • Total Fee: $1,750 AUD

  • Inclusions: Initial intake, parent session, child observation & cognitive testing (WISC-V) session (2 hours), assessment report, feedback session, 2 × parent support sessions.

  • Payment: $875 deposit at booking | $875 balance due 24 hours before testing.

  • Best For: Children struggling with focus, hyperactivity, impulsivity, or executive functioning.

  • Total Fee: $2,550 AUD

  • Inclusions: Initial intake, parent session, child observation & cognitive testing (WISC-V) session, parent/teacher rating scales, diagnostic report, feedback session, 2 × parent support sessions.

  • Payment: $1,275 deposit at booking | $1,275 balance due 24 hours before testing.

Educational Assessment Package

  • Best For: Complex classroom presentations looking at possible dual diagnostic tracks (such as attention concerns paired with specific learning difficulties like Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, or Dyscalculia).

  • Total Fee: $3,350 AUD

  • Inclusions: Initial intake, parent session, child observation with cognitive (WISC-V) & achievement testing (WIAT-III) sessions (2 x 2 hours), parent/teacher rating scales, educational report, feedback session, 2 × parent support sessions.

  • Payment: $1,675 deposit at booking | $1,675 balance due 24 hours before testing.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Do I need a doctor’s referral?

  • No, you do not need a referral to book.

  • Parents can self-refer directly by completing our online questionnaire.

  • GPs, paediatricians, schools and other allied health are welcome to refer.

Can I claim Medicare or Private Health rebates?

  • Testing work generally does not attract Medicare rebates.

  • Check with your private health fund regarding psychological assessment cover.

How long does the entire process take?

  • Typically 4 to 6 weeks from your initial session.

  • Parent support sessions must be used within 3 months post-assessment.

What if I choose the wrong assessment package?

  • Our team will adjust it for you.

  • Your initial $350 intake session acts as our clinical triage.

  • We review your history to confirm the best path.

  • We will seamlessly pivot your booking to the correct package.

What are Parent Support sessions?

  • Two post-assessment strategy sessions (up to 50 mins each) that may include:

    • Practical Tools: Clear, actionable strategies and supportive daily routines tailored to your family dynamic.

    • Holding Space: A supportive environment to process mixed emotions and reflect on your parenting journey.

    • Clear Guidance: Practical advice on how to navigate conversations and share insights with schools and family.

    • Reassurance & Relief: Focused stress management tools to help you maintain your own emotional footing.

  • All to empower you to be your child’s ultimate wellbeing coach.

What if my child is uncooperative or tired on testing day?

  • We prioritise your child's comfort and emotional safety.

  • Sessions are always held in the morning and include regular movement breaks, games, and snacks.

  • If your child hits a wall, we stop testing immediately.

  • We will split the battery across a second day at no cost.
